Taxis generally cost 29€ and take around 10 minutes from the airport to the town of Mykonos. On the other hand, buses cost 1.60€ and take around 15 minutes to Fabrica station which is located in the heart of the town.
As there is such a low number of taxis in Mykonos, safety levels are extremely high. Each driver is monitored and standards are highly regulated.
24/7 metered taxi service is available outside the Mykonos Airport Terminal building. The journey from the Airport to the city of Mykonos (Chora) is about 10 minutes and the fare is normally 15€.
Whilst Uber is not available yet in Mykonos, a few local services have recently made the booking process a lot easier. Many luxury hotels in Mykonos do provide a shuttle service until the small hours of the morning, but if you’ve ended up in town hanging out at Mykonos’ favorite windmills (you know what we mean!)
How many terminals does Mykonos Airport have? Mykonos Airport consists of one terminal, the renovated terminal was taken into use in 2021 and is now 50% bigger than the previous terminal.
